1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing in connection with the mobile application “Too Much Food” (the “App”) is:
Dennis Hasselbusch
Gartenstraße 22
38268 Lengede
Germany
Email: dennishasselbusch@googlemail.com
Website: apixdenice.github.io/contact
2. Overview
Too Much Food is a single-player arcade game. It has no user accounts and no servers of our own. Your game progress — high scores, coins, unlocked items, settings — is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Personal data is processed only in connection with the advertising displayed in the App, and, if you separately agree, when a score is published to the Game Center leaderboard.
3. Data processed through advertising (Google AdMob)
We use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to display advertising.
Google may process the following data:
- Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) and device-level identifiers
- Approximate location, derived from your IP address — we do not request precise location and the App has no access to it
- Usage data, such as interactions with advertisements and in-app events relevant to ad delivery
- Diagnostic data, such as crash reports and performance measurements
- Technical information, such as IP address, operating system version, device model and language settings
This data is processed to display personalised or non-personalised advertising, to measure advertising performance, and to detect and prevent fraud.
Further information:
Data may be transferred to servers outside the European Economic Area. Google relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for such transfers.
4. Game Center leaderboard (only with your consent)
The App offers an optional global leaderboard operated by Apple through Game Center. Nothing is transmitted unless you explicitly agree. The App asks you once, and you may change your decision at any time under Settings ▸ Leaderboard inside the App.
If you consent, your score and your Game Center nickname are transmitted to Apple and shown publicly to other players. Apple is the controller for Game Center data: apple.com/legal/privacy.
5. Legal basis
- Advertising and the associated identifiers: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, obtained through the consent dialog shown when you first open the App, and through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Publishing scores to the leaderboard: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Technical delivery of non-personalised advertising: our legitimate interest in financing the App, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future:
- Advertising consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland): in the App under Settings ▸ Privacy Options.
- Tracking (IDFA): iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking ▸ Too Much Food.
- Leaderboard: in the App under Settings ▸ Leaderboard.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
7. Storage and retention
We do not operate our own servers and store no personal data ourselves. All advertising data is processed by Google on its own infrastructure and subject to Google’s retention periods. Game progress remains on your device and is deleted when you delete the App.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we process about you (Art. 15)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erasure (Art. 17)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- Data portability (Art. 20)
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
- Withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3))
To exercise these rights, contact us at the address above. Because we do not store personal data ourselves, requests concerning advertising data should usually be addressed to Google directly.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for us is:
Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen
Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany
lfd.niedersachsen.de
9. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the European Economic Area) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is always available at this address, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
